There’s a moment where a product has to choose: stay comfortable as it is, or change to become better for the long run. We chose the latter — and I want to explain directly why, without the marketing fluff.
The Problem We Saw
RTM has always been an all-in-one plugin: buy once, everything’s active. Convenient at first, but over time we realized it came with a hidden cost. Every time we added a feature, everyone carried the weight of it — whether they needed it or not. We couldn’t invest seriously in one feature without thinking about its impact on every other feature bundled into the same package.
We also saw the same pattern play out for many Elementor users: collecting addons from different vendors for different needs — one for WooCommerce, one for blog, another for booking. Each with its own update cycle, its own support, and its own risk of conflict.
We wanted to solve both problems at once.
What We’re Building: RTMKit
RTMKit is an addon ecosystem for Elementor — not a replacement for Elementor, but a complement that brings together what’s been scattered until now. Four core addons are already available: RTM Elements (advanced widgets, extensions, and icons), RTM Woo, RTM Blog, and RTM Templates. Each can be activated based on your needs — no more paying for features you don’t use.
This is purely for page building, commerce, content, and template needs on top of Elementor. For SEO, security, and backups, we still recommend using your dedicated plugin of choice — we’re not pretending RTMKit solves everything.
Why There’s a Subscription System Now
This is the part I need to be most honest about: some future features will be paid separately, with yearly or lifetime (limited quota) options. This wasn’t a decision we made lightly. A pay-once-forever model is hard to sustain for long-term development — especially for features that need ongoing maintenance.
But we also know this touches the trust of those who already bought RTM Pro. That’s why our decision is firm: the four core addons that already exist — Elements, Woo, Blog, and Templates — are free for you, forever. No hidden conditions, no expiration date. Only new addons we never promised before will be paid — and for those, you’ll get preferential pricing.
We’re also introducing licensing options to match different scales of need — from a single addon, to a handful of chosen addons, up to full access to the entire ecosystem including future addons. Details for each are on our pricing page.
One Account for Everything: RTM Hub
Going forward, all licenses are managed through one account — RTM Hub. This is an operational convenience, not a way to lock you into a new system. Your old license stays valid; only the way it’s managed changes.
Where We’re Headed
We’re preparing a few more addons — for additional infrastructure needs, animation, advanced booking, and form building. I’ve intentionally held off on officially announcing details and product names, because we’re still in early planning, and we’ve learned from experience: better to stay quiet than make promises that might change.
What I can promise is this: our direction is to build one gateway you can genuinely trust — not through big claims, but through consistency.
